Where art is on the menu

How it works

You can visit on your own or with others. Both are perfectly fine! For groups of more than 6 people, please send us an email at info@theartcafe.nl.

1. Reserve a table via our reservation tool

2. Pick from our art menu at the café

Everyone chooses an activity from the art menu, but it doesn’t have to be the same for everyone. This way, each person can try something they’re curious about.

3. Enjoy 2 hours of making art

You’ll have a 2-hour time slot. If the café isn’t too busy, you’re welcome to stay a little longer.

4. We clean up, you enjoy the rest of your day

At the end of your session, you can take your artwork home and leave the cleanup to us.

The Art Café

OPEN CAFÉ

Just like a café but Instead of food, the menu features creative activities such as air dry clay, lino printing, painting, and more. Guests reserve a table and, just like in a restaurant, are served at their table. Each guest chooses something from the art menu in the cafe and works at their own pace. Open Café experiences are self-guided. See the full art menu above. Every Tuesday - Sunday available.

WORKSHOPS

The Art Café also hosts workshops guided by experienced professionals. We offer workshops such as crocheting a bag, working with ceramics, knitting a scarf, and life drawing.

Check the workshop page for the full workshop schedule.

Anne & Julia

Two women smiling indoors; one stands, the other sits at a table with art supplies, a plate, and flowers; colorful abstract art hangs on the wall behind them.

We’re Anne and Julia, two friends who want people to be curious again about creativity and each other.

At some point, life got more digital and busier. We missed using our hands and doing something that didn’t have to be perfect, just enjoyable. We noticed how rarely people take time to simply create something for fun. That’s when the idea for The Art Café started to grow. We wanted to create a space where everyone can slow down, try something new, and meet others in a relaxed, creative way.

A space where it’s not about results, but about the joy of trying, the conversations that happen along the way, and the pride of having made something with your own hands.

The Art Café is here to bring a bit of calm into a busy world. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about enjoying the process and sharing it with the people next to you.
