Where art is on the menu
How it works
You can visit on your own or with others. Both are perfectly fine! For groups of more than 6 people, please send us an email at info@theartcafe.nl.
1. Reserve a table via our reservation tool
2. Pick from our art menu at the café
Everyone chooses an activity from the art menu, but it doesn’t have to be the same for everyone. This way, each person can try something they’re curious about.
Open Cafe
3. Enjoy 2 hours of making art
You’ll have a 2-hour time slot. If the café isn’t too busy, you’re welcome to stay a little longer.
4. We clean up, you enjoy the rest of your day
At the end of your session, you can take your artwork home and leave the cleanup to us.
Open Café
The Open Café is always available! You can book a table and, once you're here, choose any activity from our creative menu.
We'll provide all the materials, inspiration, and instructions you need to get started, after which you can create freely at your own pace.
Unlike our workshops, the Open Café is not guided by a teacher. However, we're always walking around the space and happy to help if you have any questions along the way.
Workshops
We regularly host one-off workshops led by professional artists and makers.
Each workshop focuses on a specific technique, material, or creative theme. Whether you're trying something new or developing your skills, you'll be guided step by step in a relaxed and inspiring environment.

Courses
Our courses are multi-week programmes designed to help you build your skills and confidence over time.
Led by experienced artists, each course follows a structured curriculum, allowing you to deepen your understanding of techniques, materials, and creative processes while receiving personal guidance throughout.
Whether you're a beginner or looking to develop your skills, our courses give you the time and guidance to discover your own style and build confidence in your creative practice.
