During this workshop, Dieudonnee guides you step by step through the basics of ceramic hand-building techniques. Once you’ve shaped your piece, you can glaze it right away in one or more colours of your choice.

After the workshop, we’ll let your work dry in our studio and fire it twice in the kiln. Your piece will be ready for pickup in our pop-up shop after about three weeks.

What to Expect?

We’ll be welcoming elders from the Oma’s Soep community to help bring generations together through creativity. For every ticket purchased, we will donate a ticket for an elder to join. You’ll take part in a creative session where young and old sit together, making it easy to connect and enjoy each other’s company.

Together, you’ll design and decorate your own photo frame. We’ll have a photo printer ready, so you can take a fun or meaningful picture during the session, right here in the café.

At the end, both you and your “grandfriend” will go home with a beautiful handmade frame, complete with your photo together.
